2D DRAFTING

With our 2D Drafting service you can have a 2D CAD production drawing made from an existing 3D model. This kind of drawings are needed if you want to have a product manufactured by another production organization. All dimensions, from and place tolerances are shown on this drawing as well as the NORM / ISO standard.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

To successfully convert your drawing, we need (1 of the) following files: 3D STP, IGES or DWG file. Other extensions are also possible. In addition, we also need NORM / ISO or form & place tolerances. Are you unsure whether your file is suitable? Then contact us and we will gladly help you!

WHAT DO WE DELIVER?

All services we provide are tailor-made. This has the added advantage that you also have a wide choice of file formats with us. We deliver the file in PDF, DXF or DWG format as standard. If you want a different file, please contact us! It is advisable to have your software package and software version ready. This way we can offer the best possible service.

OUR 2D CAD DRAFTING SERVICE INCLUDES DIFFERENT TYPES OF 2D CAD DRAWINGS:

Product Drawings

  • Product drawings are drawn up to record all dimensions of the product including the shape and the place tolerances. You can use these drawings to, for example, program a CNC machine.

Construction Drawings

  • Installers, construction workers, production staff and fitters almost always work with a digital or paper 2D CAD drawing to plan and perform their work. Depending on the work, these drawings can be made from a 3D model. Examples of these types of models are floor plans, height maps or piping models. In the case of a mechanical or electrical drawing (M&E Drawing) the 3D drawing shows symbols such as switches and sockets.

Line Drawing

  • These types of drawings are made in CAD programs such as Autodesk AutoCAD or Dassault System Draftsight (DSD). A line drawing includes schematic, map, and layout drawings.
